The stories are listed in two ways. The main menu is in order of when the stories were posted on the website. You can also view the stories according to how many votes they have. Stories can have a positive or negative number of votes. The stories with the most positive votes are at the top of the list and the stories with the most negative votes are at the bottom of the list.
When new stories first get added they will have zero votes. This means they will appear somewhere in the middle of the list of stories. Stories with no votes will appear in date order, with the most recent stories appearing at the top of the stories with no votes.
That sounds a bit confusing doesn't it! However, once you've had a look it should all make sense.
If you submitted your story before this new website went live, that is before April 24, then we have had to add a title to your story. We have tried to make it so you can easily identify your story by using a descriptive title such as "Jack the dog".
However if you cannot find your story, and you have given your approval for it to be on the website, it may be that we haven't uploaded it yet. We will be attempting to upload all approved stories by the end of May 2007. You can upload it yourself by resubmitting your story. If you do this, please also email me to let me know.
If you would like your story to appear on the website and you haven't given us your approval, you can either resubmit your story or email jenny@smarterthanjack.com.
