Tipsy

My aunt has a 14 year old dachsund named Tipsy. When she was 1 year old we had guests over for her birthday. Somebody spilled a little bit of rum on the ground and curious little tipsy had a little taste. In a few minutes she was drunk! It may sound weird or untrue but she really was! She was lying down on the bed with her head off the bed. Whenever you would call her she would look around and make a simple "bowww". We got really scared and took her to the vet. He explained her little "drink" and gave her some medication. Tipsy now has arthritis in her legs and cataract in her eyes. Once in a while she will make the "bowww'" noise and will take about her little experience!

Tipsy was the right name for her. We had a terrier years ago who used to wait every night for a drop of beer when my Dad had his half pint. He used to stagger a bit sometimes. Probably not good for him but he enjoyed it.
