The Rabbit that never gave up.

Liquorice was a rabbit who never gave up trying to live.One night Liquorice had a Brain Tumor and was dying. My dad Chris was doing a night-sift and walked past Liquorice;s cage and saw him dying so dad opened his cage he was breathing but very heavily.Dad brought him inside I was in bed so mum went and got me.I was told to say good-bye to Liquorice who was dying. I went into my bed and cried my-self to sleep.In the morning I said one last good-bye before I went to school.After school mum picked me up after school with tears in her eyes she said that she had taken Liquorice to our vets and had him put to sleep.I was very upset by this but it was the bestest and kindest thing to do.

Melissa, your mom made a good decision to take Liquorice to the vet. Most likely, he had pain and you would not want him to suffer. He sounds like he was a brave bunny. Remember him and he will live on in your heart!
