Sequin Temptations
My handreared cockatiel, Jaspa, loves climbing from the top of one of her cages situated in the bedroom into the wardrobe and climbs on the top of the coathangers - a habit I try and discourage as she's not toilet trained. About a year ago I bought a deep pink shirt with sequins around the neckline. While I was occupied Jaspa climbed into the wardrobe and began pulling off the sequins. She was promptly lifted out but a while later went back for round two. Although half the shirt was now sequinless, I moved it further into the wardrobe. A few days later Jaspa was back in there looking for the shirt and found another one of similar colour although she didn't nearly have as much fun as it didn't have sequins! Just goes to show birds definitely see colour and have a good memory!
