Hide-and-go-seek

I have a dog named Misty who is a 1 year old, white Jack Russell. She looks so innocent but she’s actually very naughty. She tends to get grumpy if she does not get her own way. Misty was always clever and when we first took her to dog training she was quite good. When Misty was about 6 months she had learnt how to climb my slide. She absolutely loves balls. She goes mad and runs around the garden like a nutcase chasing the ball. She loves my mom’s lap and will fight to get to it. Misty’s favourite game that she likes playing with me is hide- and- go- seek. She’s mainly on because she hasn’t found out that you are supposed to hide. So she runs outside while I hide. She races back inside and knows exactly where I hide. If I hide behind a curtain she barks to tell me that she has found me.

On the tenth of November it was test day at dog training. Misty was placed 2nd place with 93%. I love my dog to bits and she has always loved me.

I have a Jack Russell too and on reading this story, it reminds me of my own Sparky. Well done Jess, on a wonderful story.

Our family had a dog when I was a child who loved to play cricket. We liked him to play too because he never asked to bat or bowl. He was the wicket keeper as a rule but sometimes we let him field.
Thank you for your story about Misty. It brought back some wonderful memories.
