Gym Competition

On the 25 Sunday November 2007 I had my first gym competition. It was very exciting as I was competing against other clubs. My first object was vault where I was placed 2nd. Next I had beam and in that I placed 3rd. My next obstacle was bar and I placed 1st in that. Finally it was down to floor- my favourite event. I was going against another girl in the final for that. She was really kind and the reason I liked her so much is because she could take that she lost. Yes, I did come first in that event and I am very proud as I am just recovering from back and ankle problem I got while surfing at Christmas. My club was very proud and we had a party in honour of it. My friend Jasmine was also very good so I gave her a special thumbs up. I had to then make a speech. I said I was very proud to have such good coaches and I want to keep on doing gymnastics forever. My new dream is to compete in the Olympics and win a medal. I hope one day my dream comes true!
